Latest features include OCIO and LUT color corrections from the VFB, a streamlined workflow, plus multiple camera batch rendering from Maya, and 3ds Max updates.
We’ve just released a new update for Chaos Cloud.
With support for OCIO and LUT color corrections, your rendered images will match adjustments you've made in the VFB, and we've optimized the user workflow to make it faster and more reliable. Maya users can now batch render multiple cameras and layers, while 3ds Max updates include consistent displacement and early support for SiNi Scatter and Anima 4D.
Those new features in detail:
- OCIO and LUT color corrections support
Added support for OpenColorIO and LUT color corrections made in the VFB when submitting and rendering jobs on Chaos Cloud. All rendered output images should match any locally prepared ones.
- Job optimizations
Significantly optimized every stage of the user workflow to make it faster and even more reliable — scene upload, preparing the scene for rendering and rendering it, and output download.
- Batch rendering from Maya
Easily batch render multiple cameras and render layers from Maya.
- V-Ray for 3ds Max updates
Displacement is now consistent with V-Ray for 3ds Max, and we've added initial support for SiNi scatter and Anima 4D.
